I have concluded a 12 day trip on Sunday night.  During the last month, I have been on Ashville, NC TV News, and had a story in both the Asheville and Black Mountain Newspapers, Then on Saturday my picture was on the front page of the Amarillo,Tx Newspaper with an accompanying story.  That kind of publicity for me is unknown before.When I went to the Market in Amarillo on Saturday afternoon, A woman who had a booth there, said "why, you are in the paper!" so she gave me her copy.

It was a toal of 3246 miles this time and according to the engine clock that made an average of 54 MPH of course the engine clock runs when ever the engine runs whether that is waiting for someone to get into or out of ( see I could have said ingress and egress) the car or waiting for a stop light.  I got 22.8 MPG ave for the trip and consumed 142.46 Gal of gas.

On the trip, I got to see old High School class mates, a man I taught high school with  in Indiana, a cousin, my sister and her husband, three of the battle flags of my grandfather's unit from the Civil War.  I also got to see old friends in the 62nd AFA Bn Association, and was elected President for the next year.
